52 Super Series Sailing Race Cleanup | South Pointe Park Beach and Jetty

Join us at a cleanup during the 52 Super Series Miami Royal Cup sailing race!   We will be able to see the race boats taking off as we help clean the bay along the park, the beach and the South Pointe Jetty.

Metered parking is available at public parking lot at South Pointe Park by Smith and Wollensky restaurant.  Park at the eastern end of the lot, closest to Smith and Wollensky.  From there, walk to the waterfront, turn left and walk towards the beach.

We will be set-up for volunteer check-in at the grassy area, in front of the bathrooms and concession area of South Point Park, before you reach the Pier/Jetty.

All cleanup supplies will be provided including garbage bags, sunscreen, hand sanitizer,  and water cooler for cold water refills. We have plenty of gloves but cannot guarantee we will have your size, so bring your own if you have them.

Light breakfast will be provided before the cleanup and a light lunch afterwards :)

*Don't forget to bring a reusable water bottle, let's reduce plastic waste where possible. The first 50 volunteers to arrive will receive an Ocean Conservancy stainless steel cup.

*Wear closed-toed shoes, as the shoreline is rocky in places.

*Sunglasses and hat are recommended.

This event is open to all ages, please invite family and friends. Community Service hours provided.

This cleanup is jointly hosted by Ocean Conservancy, 11th Hour Racing and VolunteerCleanup.org. Help us by recording important ocean trash data: Download the debris data collection app, Clean Swell to use at the cleanup!
