VolunteerCleanup.org Monthly Cleanup + Host Training Series | Sewell Park
Join VolunteerCleanup.org for our November monthly cleanup and "Host Training" series. Each month, we will be leading a cleanup in a different area.
All volunteers are welcome to join, and especially those of you who want to learn how to host your own cleanups in your communities. We will lead the event demonstrating appropriate safety precautions, recommended supplies, best practices for organizing large groups and assigning tasks, data collection techniques, and talking points to educate groups about marine debris.
**Community Service hours provided!
VolunteerCleanup.org will provide all supplies including: gloves, buckets, trash bags, sunscreen, and water cooler for cold water refills.
- Please wear dress for the weather, and wear closed-toes shoes that can get dirty.
- Bring Water in a reusable container. Let’s reduce our plastic waste and refuse single-use disposable plastic water bottles, when possible.
- Hat and sunglasses recommended
