Black Point Trail Clean Up Part 2!

As a child Black Point Marina was my second home, after a recent visit I was appalled by how much the land was littered with single-use plastics, fishing nets, and soiled diapers to name a few. Every step I took the anxiety kept building up...I couldn't enjoyed this once plush and healthy Black Creek Path. We must be attentive in how we treat these stretches of land. We are protectors of the environment and the life it sustains. Keeping our earth as well as the oceans clean is a great way to teach the family about the importance of having a clean earth. The easiest way to do this is to simply pick it up and set the standard for bystanders!

We will be meeting at the parking lot across from Black Point Marina Bar and Grill on 87TH Ave. I posted a screen shot of the designated meeting spot on the FB event page. Make sure to bring bug spray and water. I will be providing gloves, bags, and other supplies. Thank you for taking the time to contribute to our local parks and waters health!
