International Coastal Clean Up | Miami Beach 62nd -79th St.

Surfrider will be leading the beach cleanup from 62nd Street - 79th Street.

This will be a great kids event, as John Elizabeth Aleman - City of Miami Beach Commission Candidate in Group 6 - along with the PTA's from South Pointe Elementary, North Beach Elementary and Nautilus Middle School will be bringing students to participate in the collection of trash and data.

Meet at 73rd Street Beach Entrance to sign waivers and get your supplies and giveaway bags! 

Volunteers should bring:

  • Their own pen or pencil to fill out data collection cards
  • Wear appropriate closed toes shoes or water shoes and comfortable clothes
  • Sunscreen and hat are highly recommended
  • Water in a reusable container (please don’t  create more waste with plastic water bottles, it only adds to the mess!)
  • Snacks

*Gloves and water refills will be provided by the City of Miami Beach.  Bring your reusable bottle! #riseaboveplastics

*International Coastal Cleanup will provide garbage bags and data collection cards. 

     ***** All volunteers must fill out the Volunteer Release form ***** Download, print, sign and bring with you!
