Venetian Clean Up with Kubs for State Representative District 113

The Kubs For Florida Campaign is hosting a shoreline clean up on the Venetian Causeway on Saturday, June 30th from 9:00am-11:00am. All are welcome to join us to help keep our community clean by picking up litter and trash in an area where debris often washes ashore. We'll leverage our campaign's momentum to clean up a central part of the District that desperately needs our help. Together, we'll make our district the best it can be while ensuring that we keep it pristine for generations to come. 

** VolunteerCleanup.org will provide all supplies for the cleanup (gloves, buckets, garbage bags, pickers, sunscreen, water, hand sanitizer etc) a water cooler for filtered cold water refills, and will provide sturdy ponchos in the case of light rain.

Community service hours provided! 

Volunteers Should:

• Dress for the weather and wear closed toed shoes—no flip flops or sandals!   Hat and sunglasses are also recommended for a hot and sunny day.
• Please bring water in a reusable bottle so we can reduce plastic waste where possible. We will provide water coolers for cold water refills but will not be providing bottled water.
• Download the Clean Swell App to participate in the Citizen Science Data Logging. You will work in teams of 2-3ppl

• Volunteers must check in and sign waivers before you start. Download Waiver  Pre-signing and bringing with you will help expedite check-in! 

Location is directly east of the Venetian Causeway toll-plaza on the south side. It's the shoreline park right next to the 1000 Venetian condo building (the park does not have it's own address) 

Parking: there are a handful of parking spots at the toll office (10 or so) and some limited street parking alongside the park. Strong suggest uber/lyft, biking, public transport if you are coming from nearby, and carpooling! 

There are no restrooms onsite at this park.
