Matheson Hammock Park Clean Up

Join us in cleaning up Matheson Hammock park! Meet us Saturday September 7th, at 8am at the Southside picnic area by the boat ramp where a tent will be set up with water, trash bags and buckets to help clean up this popular, beautiful park/beach! The terrain for this clean up consist of mangroves, wet and muddy trails, but ends at a secluded beach. Bring a bathing suit and a packed lunch to make a day out of it afterwards!

Please consider bringing the following:

- PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN REUSABLE WATER BOTTLES TO MINIMIZE WASTE!!

- Closed toed shoes that can get wet

- Hat/Sunglasses

- Sunblock

- Gardening gloves/gloves

- Bug spray

- UPF Shirt

- Snacks or lunch to enjoy after the clean up

The waiver for the event can be printed and signed in advance at this link here! Every volunteer must sign a waiver to participate! Waivers will be available to sign the morning of the event!
