Beach N' Clean + BBQ w/Debris Free Oceans
Join Debris Free Oceans for a beach day cleanup and grill out at Hobie Beach in Key Biscayne!
****Please bring your own reusable cup if you would like some free kombucha**** only those with a reusable cup will receive the kombucha!
Hobie Beach is a dog-friendly beach and we are inviting our volunteers to bring their dogs as well as any food and grills they may want to use for the event.
Of course we encourage our volunteers to be low/zero-waste and pick up after themselves when bringing their (hopefully) plant-based foods to conscious of the items they bring and the plastic packaging and impact on the environment that may be involved.
The cleanup will begin at 3pm and end at sunset. We will be providing gloves, garbage bags, and grabbers to pick up the trash. We invite everyone to come out for a good time, good food, and enthusiasm in our efforts to cleanup our beaches.
Feel free to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, speakers, bathing suits, towels, and any other items you may want for our beach day festivities.
