Coconut Grove Clarington Island's International Coastal Cleanup Day

Hosted by Coconut Grove Sailing Club and Biscayne Bay Foundation from 8:30 am to 11:30 am inside the Coconut Grove Sailing Club 2990 S Bayshore Dr, Coconut Grove, FL 33133

• Please check out where you checked in to insure that no one is left on the island. 
• A goodie bag provided by International Coastal Cleanup will distributed then.
• Recommended for ages 7 and older.   Children from ages 7 to 12 needed to be with an adult.
• Registration begins at 8:30 and the transportation to and from the island will be as needed.
• Parking is available on the street or Sonesta garage.  Parking at the Sailing Club is for members only.
• Meeting spot is under the clubhouse inside the gate.
• Mosquito spray is highly recommended.
• Wear appropriate closed toes shoes or water shoes and comfortable clothes.
• Sunscreen, sunglasses and hat are highly recommended
• Work/dishwashing gloves (we suggest reusable work gloves coated with latex that you can pick up at the grocery store/Shell Lumber/any chain drug or hardware store.  We have some clothes work clothes that you can borrow.  We also have medical grade latex gloves available.
• A reusable container for water. Let's reduce our plastic waste and refuse single-use disposable plastic water bottles when possible. Additional water will be available for refill.

4 Community Service Hours provided for this event.  Please be on time to collect your hours.  Letters will be sent after the clean up.

Refreshment will be provided after the cleanup.

Garbage bags, data collection cards, community service hours certificate, and a giveaway goodie bag will be provided by International Coastal Cleanup.
