HELP CLEAN UP THE TRASH IN THE MANGROVES OF MARGARET PACE PARK

I LOVE WALKING IN MARGARET PACE PARK AND ENJOY THE BEAUTY AND NATURE THAT ABOUNDS, BUT RECENTLY NOTICED HOW MUCH GARBAGE AND TRASH THAT HAS ACCUMULATED IN THE WATER AND MANGROVE AREA, SO I DECIDED TO ORGANIZED A CLEANUP.  So if you love the park and feel inclined to help too, I need YOU!!!

Let's do what we can to pick up as much trash and garbage in the mangroves and water/rocky area of Margaret Pace Park.  I will bring garbage bags and will try to get some pool nets to scoop out the trash.  Recommended to bring:  clothes that you don't mind getting wet or dirty, closed toed shoes (it's very rocky and wet), reusable work/rubber gloves, bottle of water for yourself to stay hydrated, sunscreen/hat/bug spray.  ALSO - If you have any type of net or pool scooper to skim out the trash that would help greatly for gathering trash in the water.  

There can absolutely be sharp items such as broken glass, hypodermic needles, metal with sharp edges, wood with nails, etc. You may be climbing on rocks, or working in wet areas. You are responsible for your own actions and safety, and neither VolunteerCleanup.Org, Miami Dade Coastal Cleanup, Inc., nor the host of this event is liable for any accidents. We REALLY want you to be safe and practice common sense.
