We Are Nature will be hosting a cleanup at Deering Point on 10/26/19. Let's protect the environment and make the world a better place!

You will be able to receive community service hours. After the event, we will email volunteers a signed form verifying the number of hours they have served. 

An email will be sent out to registered volunteers 2-3 days before the event with more specific instructions and detailed information.

Parking: Free parking available for volunteers.

Meeting Spot: All volunteers will be meeting at 17350 Old Cutler Road (Deering Point) at the shelter closest to the beach. 

We provide all the tools at our cleanups (gloves, garbage bags, sunscreen, bug spray). However, we STRONGLY recommend that volunteers bring a reusable water bottle! If you would like to bring any tools of your own such as garbage bags or gloves, you are more than welcome to! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Join our naturalists in restoring the park and its natural areas by participating in our monthly beach clean-up. This program meets at the park Nature Center (Crandon Park North Beach entrance); please bring comfortable closed-toed shoes, insect repellent, work gloves (if you have them), and protection from the sun. Long shirts/pants, water, hats, and sunglasses are highly recommended.  We also suggest bringing refillable water bottles and snacks.
