World Oceans Day Beach Cleanup on Siesta Key Beach

Come out to Siesta Key Beach for a World Oceans Day Beach Cleanup hosted by! is partnering with Sarasota County to create a family-friendly, educational event where people can learn about the great plastic pollution problem and be a part of the solution! Our tents with registration and the beach cleanup starting point will be directly on the beach in front of the main pavilion at Siesta Key Public Beach.

There will be a sunrise yoga class on the beach starting promptly at 7 am and the beach cleanup will go from 8-11 am. We'll be giving away T-shirts to the first 50 volunteers to show up, along with a raffle after the cleanup with prizes (like a freediving class!) donated from local businesses.

Volunteers should bring/wear: close-toed shoes, sun protection (sunscreen, long-sleeve shirts, hats) and a large towel if they want to participate in beach yoga at 7 am.

We can't wait to save the ocean with you!
