Everything But Water

Greetings Volunteers!  

 

Thank you for volunteering at Tom Hughes Parkas part of 25th Annual Lake Travis Cleanup!  Below is some important information:

 

Date: Sunday, September 15, 2019

Time: 9am to 11am

Location:  Tom Hughes Park

Address: 12714 Hughes Park Rd, Austin, TX 78732

 

Directions: From the intersection of RR 620 and FM 2222, take RR 620 south 2.3 miles to Marshall Ford Drive. Turn right on Marshall Ford Drive and travel 0.2 miles to Park Drive. Turn right and travel 2.8 miles to the park entrance. Your leader will be on site by 8:30am – tell the fee both operators that you are with the Lake Travis Cleanup to enter for free.

 

Meeting Place: Volunteers will meet in the large parking lot in the park.  This is where you will meet your site Esther Lopez. Your site leader will distribute supplies, do a brief safety talk, and tell you where to leave your trash bags. 

 

What to Bring:  Please bring a full bottle of water (or two). Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants and close-toed shoes.  Please remember to wear plenty of sunscreen!

We Will Provide: Cleanup supplies, first aid kit, bug spray, and trash grabbers

 

Don’t forget to return your supplies to your site leader before you leave.  If you signed up a group please be sure that the group has all this information!

 

Please join us at the Oasis(6550 Comanche Trail) for the volunteer appreciation party from 11:30am to 1:30pm.  Volunteers will get a t-shirt, lunch, and be eligible for lots of great raffle prizes!!
