Paddle Against Pollution - Oleta River State Park

Volunteers (2 groups of 9 with one guide each) will be provided with kayaks for paddling from the park to Sandspur Island, collecting trash and returning to the park with it, where it will be placed in an appropriate trash receptacle. All ages welcome - those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Check in: 12:00 pm (NOON) at the Outdoor Center in the park, Launch: 12:30 pm, Return: 3:00 pm

Required: Kayak rental waiver, face mask (this must be worn until you are out on the water)
Provided: gloves, trash bags, waterproof bag for face mask, kayak, paddle, life jacket
Suggested gear: sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, water, snacks, bug spray, towel, and water shoes or sandals, bluetooth speaker
