Paddle Against Pollution - Private Cleanup for Large Groups

This is offered as a private cleanup to groups of 9 (minimum) to 18 (maximum) participants. Volunteers will be provided with kayaks for paddling from the park to Sandspur Island, collecting trash and returning to the park with it, where it will be placed in an appropriate trash receptacle. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Kayaking experience is preferred. PLEASE CONTACT LAURIE SHELDON if you have an appropriately-sized group interested volunteering on this date.

Check in: 9:30 am at the Outdoor Center in the park, Launch: 10:00 am, Return: 12:00 pm (NOON)

Required: Kayak rental waiver
Provided: gloves, trash bags, waterproof bag for face mask, kayak, paddle, life jacket
Suggested gear: sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, water, snacks, bug spray, towel, and water shoes or sandals, bluetooth speaker
