Conservation and restoration scientists often rely on data collected by citizen scientists to achieve a broader picture of their research subject or area- it truly "takes a village" to monitor, and ultimately preserve our beaches!
Join in on this important and fun work as we partner with Miami EcoAdventures and the Miami-Dade County Parks department as we conduct a beach cleanup along Crandon Park Beach, sort through the trash, and then collect important marine debris data!
Meet at the Crandon Visitors and Nature Center. You do not need to pay for parking, just pick up a parking pass from the event organizers upon arrival.
