Yoga, Bay Cleanup, & Plant Sale
Hideout Cafe x Debris Free Oceans' "People for Plants and Parks" are at it again with our 2nd event - this time, in addition to a yummy yoga flow, street cleanup, and plant sale, we'll also be celebrating the launch of ecomadic's Miami region recommendations! ecomadic (@ecomadic) is an online responsible travel platform, featuring recs for sustainable accommodations, socially-responsible eateries and shops, and ethical experiences around the world!
Check out what's in store:
- 10:00-11:30 - We'll be starting the day off right with a street & bayside cleanup in and around Margaret Pace Park! Meet at the Hideout at 9:45 am.
- 11:30-12:15 - Yoga class (all levels) with Rise & Soulshine/the Inspired Life instructor Perla Muller (@perlamuller). Perla is an 200 YTT yogi and an architect - we loved her style and flow at our December event, and we are so grateful to have her back!
- 12:15-12:30 - Peruse a beautiful selection of plants for sale at Hideout Garden. 10% of sales from all plants (today and all days) will support DFO's cleanups in Biscayne National Park & your purchase will put you on our exclusive early mailing list to sign up for future island cleanups before they are open to the general public (an excellent opportunity, as our island cleanups always sell out!)
- Hang around to enjoy a Hideout Cafe coffee, on us ;) as well as a chance to win a free plant - every participant receives a complimentary coffee and one raffle entry with ticket purchase. Bring your own cup for your free drink!
We can't wait to have you join us for this epic celebration of the launch of Ecomadic's new Miami guide, which features the Hideout, DFO, Rise & Soulshine, and Biscayne National Park Institute. Be one of the first to be in the know about sustainable travel opportunities in and outside of Miami!
For cleanup, DFO will provide:
- Reusable water bottle
- Yoga Mat
- Sun/rain protection
*COVID-19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WILL BE TAKEN & GUIDELINES ENFORCED*
