Clarington Island Cleanup

Please come join us at Coconut Grove Sailing Club for the next Clarington Island Cleanup! For more than a decade our members and volunteers from the community have been serving as stewards of this spoil island adjacent to our mooring field by removing TONS of garbage and debris that continually accumulates on it. This helps us to protect the Biscayne Bay ecosystem that is the home of our sailing community and is a treasure for all residents of Miami. Check-in will happen downstairs at the club from 8:15-8:45 AM and we'll head out to the island @9AM. Wear closed toed shoes and bring your own sunblock. We shall supply gloves, bags for garbage and a light lunch after we finish. Children 12 and older may participate, and vouchers are available for students for community service hours. You must register here to participate. Park either on the street outside the club or in a public garage, as parking at CGSC is reserved for members only. All are welcome!
