Clarington Island Cleanup at CGSC

Come join us at Coconut Grove Sailing Club for the next Clarington Island Cleanup! For more than a decade our club's members and friends have been acting as stewards for this spoil island adjacent to our mooring field by removing garbage and debris that continually accumulates there. This helps us to protect the Biscayne Bay ecosystem that is the home of our sailing community and is a treasure for all residents of Miami. Registration will be downstairs at the club from 8:15-8:45 AM and we'll head out to the island @9. Wear closed toed shoes and bring plenty of sunblock. We shall supply gloves, bags for garbage and a light lunch after we finish. Vouchers are available for students who need community service hours. All are welcome!
