Matheson Hammock Park Coastal Cleanup

On the fourth Saturday of every month, volunteers can assist the Matheson Hammock staff and beautify this coastal park to keep our ocean ecosystem healthy. Gloves and trash bags are provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own resuable gloves and tools to reduce waste. Please register for this event and sign your waiver on Park Link.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Removing microplastics and trash
• Pulling exotic plant species
• Additional tasks as needed

Qualifications: Youth under 15 must have a parent/guardian present.

Commitment Expected: Please arrive at your scheduled start time. Masks recommended. Community service hours letters will be emailed, by request, following the event.
