St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park Cleanup

Florida Conservation Corps AmeriCorps in celebrating National Public Lands Day alongside the International Coastal Cleanup at St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park. We will be walking the beach and picking up residual debris alongside other activities including an interpretive program discussing existing native and non-native flora and fauna. Come by means of boat, kayak or paddle board and meet at the ranger station on the island at 9:00am. The entrance fee will be waived for participants! Come out and celebrate with us, this event is fun for the whole family! Participants are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle and wear appropriate clothing (closed toed shoes are not necessary, sandals are recommended.) Water for refills, gloves and trash pickers will be provided.
