BHI Causeway Cleanup

Broad Causeway Shoreline Cleanup - Sunday, June 26th

We will be cleaning up along the shoreline that runs on both sides of the Broad Causeway.  Help us keep the trash that folks toss out of their windows and from their boats from ending up in our beautiful Bay.  Ages 12 and older are welcome but we do ask that all volunteers sign a waiver.  Volunteers under 18 will need to have the waiver signed by their parent or guardian. If they won't be present the day of the cleanup, that is okay, as long as they sign the waiver.

Meetup is at the parking lot on the west side of the Bay Harbor Chevron, 1501 Broad Causeway, Bay Harbor Islands, FL 33154 at 8:00 AM. (We want to beat the heat!) If you are tardy - don't stress out. Someone will be there to check you in. Wear bright or light colored clothing and sturdy, closed-toed shoes or sneakers with socks.  A hat and sunglasses are also suggested. If you have work gloves - feel free to bring them, if not - no worries; we can supply them, along with rakes, shovels, bags, etc. and of course - water!! Again - kids 12 and over are welcome and we will happily provide letters for students who require proof of Community Service Hours. T-shirts will be sent out to all participants one week after the event so make sure to provide us your size,
