Each year the Broward County Waterway Cleanup attracts thousands of volunteers from many neighborhoods and communities throughout the county. People of all ages come out in their boats and along the shores to clean all kinds of debris from the waterways.

All volunteers will receive an official WWCU T-shirt and invitation to the Trash Bash after-party event. The cleanup runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the Trash Bash immediately following.

Volunteers must be 14 years of age to be on site without an 18+ adult.

What to Wear:

-gloves (provided, but you may bring your own)

-sunscreen

-sunglasses

-closed-toe shoes

-clothes that you don’t mind getting wet and dirty

-rubber type gloves (optional)

-volunteers are encouraged to wear the official Waterway Cleanup T-shirts that will be provided while supplies last

What to Bring:

Each participant must sign the WATERWAY CLEANUP WAIVERClick here to download the form and bring with you to your site. Turn in the form when you arrive.
