North Bay Shore, William Lehman Park/ International Coastal Cleanup Day
North Miami it is that time of year again! We need to keep our city clean. Join us for the International Coastal Cleanup to make this effort successful. Ocean trash is a consequential issue in our society that affects our health and environment.
Last year, more than 18 million pounds of trash was collected by approximately 800,000 volunteers during the International Coastal Cleanup. Here in Miami-Dade, we collected 17,500 pounds of marine debris from 31 miles of coastline. Join our site to help us come together and tackle the trash around the world.
