US1 Cleanup with the Big Pine Changemakers
Join the Coastlove Big Pine Changemakers as we continue our campaign to Protect Your Paradise.
We have adopted two miles of US1 on Big Pine from MM29-31 (east of North Pine Channel Bridge going to Industrial Road by the Chamber of Commerce).
Join us on Saturday, November 12th from 8:30AM - 11:30AM as we clean up debris and make our community litter free. We will meet at Big Pine Academy school by the Flea Market and divide into teams to work both sides of US1.
Please note: Participants must be able to walk a mile along the side of a busy highway
What to Bring:
-Reusable water bottle
-Safety vest (if you have one)
-Trash grabber (if you have one)
-Reef-friendly sun protection
-Clothes that can get dirty
-Closed toed shoes that are comfortable to walk distances in

We will be providing reusable trash bags, gloves, and a water refill station.
As we will be working alongside of a highway, we will be limiting this cleanup to the first 30 volunteers in an effort to keep everyone safe. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
