Miami Beach 23rd Street | International Coastal Cleanup Day: Let's do this!

My dear friends, meine lieben Freunde, queridos amigos:

Let’s put the sun and fun back into responsibility! Miami-Dade Coastal Clean-up: Saturday-September 17th, 2016 from 9am-12pm. Meeting place: on the beach on 23rd Street off Collins Ave (right North of the W Hotel and South of the Roney Palace). Can’t miss us. ☺ Would you like to help clean up Miami-Dade's beaches in a big way, just like we did the previous years? I will be a site coordinator again and would love for as many of you as possible to show up!

RSVP Below!

Invite friends and family, too. You can simplly forward this link with everyone you know!! It’s a great, great opportunity to do something for our city, our beaches, and especially raise environmental awareness: EVERY helping hand counts and every effort is worth a lot. Children any age are welcome to join, too! (Linus is ready to roll! :)) Older children/teenagers will be given a certificate for community hours.   You may bring an extra pack of rubber/latex gloves in case we run out.   This regional effort is part of the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC), which takes place every year on the third Saturday of September. The event is spearheaded globally by the Ocean Conservancy, and organized locally by VolunteerCleanup.org and is supported locally by business and environmentally conscious organizations.   I hope to see many of you there – even if online registration is closed due to too many participants, please show up regardless, since there cannot be enough helpers!!
Daniela

"Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time, who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done, if we are always doing." — Thomas Jefferson
