Floatopia 2016 Litter Prevention Team

Floatopia will be bringing thousands of visitors from all around South Florida to bask in the sun and float in the water. VolunteerCleanup.Org is creating a Floatopia "Litter Prevention Team" to ensure that everyone participates in keeping the beach clean and leaving only Float-Prints. Please note : This is *NOT* a beach cleanup - we are facilitating *FLOATOPIANS* to keep our beach clean.

We will focus on 4 main actions :
1) Walking through the crowds with funny anti-littering signs
2) Giving out trash bags to groups and encouraging them to keep our beach clean
3) Handing out free pocket ashtrays to smokers and educate them that cigarette butts are made of plastic and not biodegradable
4) Provide FREE Water refills using coolers at our educational tent

We will have 3 shifts to educate the Floatopians and facilitate clean beaches.
