Rock the Ocean Beach Clean Up

Join us for a morning beach cleanup with Rock The Ocean, Stoked On Salt and Free Our Seas and Beyond, 9am - Noon. We have a limited supply of buckets so if you have your own, please bring it along. Wear protective gloves and shoes at all times. Do not pick up any sharp items. Bring a reusable water bottle and reef safe sunscreen. Community Service hours available.

Volunteers can be part of Stoked On Salt's latest project to create a "RTO RECYCLED PLASTIC DEBRIS ARCH" by attaching plastic debris that has been removed during the shoreline cleanup. Once completed, the Arch will be used as the FINISH LINE during the Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program TIPSY TURTLE 5K CHARITY FUN RUN on Saturday, February 11th at LauderALE. The money raised for the run will help fill their supply chain, provide cushion for ATV expenses, Outreach events, and so much more!

Enjoy MEEC's educational booths and exhibits, public turtle feedings, house tours, food trucks and Hollywood Open Studios featuring art by Alissa Alfonso 11:00am - 4:00pm.
All ages are welcome. This is a free family event.
Metered Parking. Food Trucks will be on site. 100% proceeds of cold water sales to benefit the MEEC.
