Shoreline & Waterway Cleanup @Oleta June 14th - the Friends & Surfrider SoFla

Please join us on June 14th for a fun morning with local volunteers to clean up harmful litter on our precious shorelines and in the surrounding waters at Oleta River State Park.

Meetup Spot: Oleta's Manatee Pavilion (East of Lot 8)
8:30AM: Orientation/Supplies/Volunteer forms
9:00AM: Launch of Cleanup

We will attack the coasts on foot and the sea via stand-up paddleboard, kayak, canoe, or any other vessel of choice. 

Please make sure to wear solid shoes/sun protective clothes/hat/sunscreen and gloves. Please bring a REFILLABLE WATER BOTTLE. We will supply cold water refills plus some other snacks (details to come soon).

NO SINGLE USE PLASTIC bottles allowed at this litter-free event.

Community service credits available to students volunteering. Kids under 12 MUST be supervised by adult.
