Crandon Park EcoAdventures EcoAction Day (North Beach entrance)

Join our naturalists in restoring the park and its natural areas by participating in our monthly beach clean-up. This program meets at the park Nature Center (Crandon Park North Beach entrance); please bring comfortable closed-toed shoes, insect repellent, work gloves (if you have them), and protection from the sun. Long shirts/pants, water, hats, and sunglasses are highly recommended.  We also suggest bringing refillable water bottles and snacks.

For this beach cleanup, we will be partnering with 4Ocean on our cleanup.  4Ocean has operations all over the world and is committed to ocean sustainability, recycling awareness, Earth preservation, and creating global economies.  Any recyclable materials will be taken back to the 4Ocean headquarters in South Florida, where the items will be cleaned and re-purposed.   This will be a great day to come out and help the beaches of Crandon park and a great opportunity to learn about how marine debris affects our oceans.
