Kayak Field Trip and Cleanup

Ready to hit the water — and make it sparkle? On Nov. 2, we are joining our friends from Baptist Health, Debris Free Ocean, and Virginia Key Outdoor Center for a kayaking field trip.
Debris Free Oceans will lead the way, taking our private group on a kayak excursion to learn about our local marine and coastal environments while helping keep them clean along the way.
So come join the fun, meet new folks, and do our part to keep Virginia Key beautiful for years to come.

✅SEE MANATEES !!!! — That’s right. Manatee season is here.
What to bring:
- closed-toed shoes
- change of clothes — you may get wet and want to drive home in dry clothes
- reusable water bottle
- sun block
Virginia Key Outdoor Center will provide:
- kayak, life jacket and paddles
Travel/Parking: Please note there is a toll to cross the bridge that is $1.50 - $3.00, depending if you have a sun pass.
There is an $8 fee to enter the park which will be waived for you. There is ample parking available at the park
