BAST AMRON's Margaret Pace Park Cleanup

As a follow up to their Business Advantage Forum, Bast Amron invites attendees of the program to participate in a shoreline cleanup with VolunteerCleanup.org at Margaret Pace Park, to learn about our local marine debris problem, to learn how to become part of the solution, and to learn more about the efforts of VolunteerCleanup.org.

** VolunteerCleanup.org will provide all supplies for the cleanup (gloves, buckets, garbage bags, pickers, sunscreen, water, hand sanitizer, a water cooler for filtered cold water refills)

We will be meeting in the center of the park at one of the picnic tables along the water. Look for our banner!

Community service hours provided!

Volunteers Should:

  • Dress for the weather and wear shoes you are comfortable walking on the beach in
  • Hat and sunglasses are also recommended for a hot and sunny day.
  • Please bring water in a reusable bottle so we can reduce plastic waste where possible. We will provide water coolers for cold water refills but will not be providing bottled water.
  • Download the Clean Swell App to participate in the Citizen Science Data Logging. You will work in teams of 2-3ppl

Volunteers must check in and sign waivers before you start. Download Waiver  Pre-signing and bringing with you will help expedite check-in!

***If you are under 18 and coming without a parent, you must have a parent sign the waiver and bring with you.

Please register in advance so we can plan for turn-out and ensure we have enough supplies on hand.
