CleanUpWilliamLehmanPark
North Bay Shore Park is a popular recreation area, but also serves as an important wildlife area. The mangroves serve as estuaries for small fish to grow and the waters as hunting grounds for fish eating birds like pelicans. We want to get together to remove pollutants from this beautiful park.
During our last clean up, we gathered over 230lb of trash, including non biodegradable plastics and roughly three bags of fishing line and hooks only, yet so much remains. Help us bring back the great beauty of this historic natural oasis.
VOLUNTEERS WILL NEED:

Change of clothes (you may get wet)
Own reusable water bottle (water will be provided )
Bags\buckets and gloves (some will be provided)
Snacks to share (please consider vegan options)
