Spring Break Miami Beach Cleanup (4th Street)

Miami Beach Commissioner Michael Grieco has partnered up with VolunteerCleanUp.org, Clean Up Miami Beach and the Miami Beach Rotary Club to do a 10-block beach, dune and jetty clean up during the peak of Spring Break.

We will be meeting at 4th Street on the sand. Parking may be difficult / expensive, so please use public transit or carpool.

Free refreshments and 4 hours of Community Service will be offered.

We will also be partnering with ART MD to collect cigarette butts that will be used in an art project to raise awareness about the leading cause of deaths in the US and the most frequently littered item in the world, as well as a handing out pocket ashtrays to beachgoers to prevent cigarette butt litter on our beautiful beaches.

This will be a great event and we will need a lot of volunteers! Stay afterwards and enjoy a great day at the beach.
