MLK Day Of Service @ Virginia Key North Point Park | Coastal Clean Up & Native Planting + Limited Free Kayaks

Each year, on the third Monday in January, the MLK Day of Service is observed as a "day on, not a day off." MLKDay of Service is intended to empower individuals, strengthen communities, bridge barriers, create solutions to social problems, and move us closer to Dr. King's vision of a "Beloved Community." This year, Our Better Places will be hosting a Day Of Service at Virginia Key North Point Park in collaboration with the Virginia Key Outdoor Center and Commissioner Ken Russel.

There will be a nonprofit exhibition fair during this event. Participants will be able to get information from local organization and have the opportunity to sign up and get more involved with their program offerings!

  • 🧜🏻‍♀️ Bring your Friends, we’re gonna need all the help we can get!
