Deering Estate Cleanup (We are Nature)

We Are Nature will be hosting a cleanup at Deering Estate on January 25th, 2020! Let's protect the environment and make the world a better place!

If you are a board member of a school club and would like club members to attend, please email us ([email protected]) so we can make further arrangements.

You will be able to receive up to 4 community service hours. After the event, we will email volunteers a signed form verifying the number of hours they have served.

An informational email will be sent out to registered volunteers 2-3 days before the event with more specific instructions and detailed information.

Parking: Free parking available for volunteers in the main lot at the Deering Estate Visitors Center.

Meeting Spot: All volunteers will be meeting at the main gate. However, this meeting spot is subject to change. We will confirm a meeting spot in the aforementioned informational email.

We provide all the tools at our cleanups (gloves, garbage bags, sunscreen, bug spray). However, we STRONGLY recommend that volunteers bring a reusable water bottle! If you would like to bring any tools of your own such as garbage bags or gloves, you are more than welcome to! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to working alongside you!
