Matheson Hammock Park Cleanup (We Are Nature)

We Are Nature will be hosting a cleanup at Matheson Hammock Park on February 29th, 2020! Let's protect the environment and make the world a better place!

If you are a board member of a school club and would like club members to attend, please email us (volunteer@wearenature.net) so we can make further arrangements.

You will be able to receive community service hours. After the event, we will email volunteers a signed form verifying the number of hours they have served.

An email will be sent out to registered volunteers 2-3 days before the event with more specific instructions and detailed information.

Parking: Free parking available for volunteers. There will be a security booth when driving towards the beach, so please be sure to tell the security that you are here for the cleanup in order to get free parking.

Meeting Spot: All volunteers will be meeting at the main entrance from the general (larger) parking lot. We will provide a map with more detailed directions in the informational email.

We provide all the tools at our cleanups (gloves, garbage bags, sunscreen, bug spray). However, we STRONGLY recommend that volunteers bring a reusable water bottle! If you would like to bring any tools of your own such as garbage bags or gloves, you are more than welcome to! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to working alongside you!
