Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserves at Pelican Harbor Marina/ International Coastal Clean-up Day

Have fun being part of the solution to pollution !!!

Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserve wants you to join us for the Ocean Conservancy’s/ International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday September 17, 2016 9:00am – 12:00pm (sign up starts at 8:30am).  

I will also like to suggest some things that you might like to bring - Refillable water bottles, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, watershoes/shoes (that can get wet and muddy), and a rain coat/umbrella  in case it rains.

The cleanup area will consist of the mangroves along the north side of 79th ST causeway, the rip-rap along the south side of 79th St causeway and the shoreline south of the parking lot and next boat ramps. Please be aware of vehicles launching and loading boats in the boat ramp parking area.

 The Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserve’s site is at our office at Pelican Harbor Marina 1277 NE 79st Causeway, Miami, FL 33138.

**Everyone that participates must register online. (even if you are coming together)

Volunteers must check in and sign waivers before any materials will be distributed. 

If under 18 without a parent or guardian, you must have a parent or guardian sign waiver below in advanced and bring to site.
